Join Tim in a workshop that will help you ask – and answer – 10 essential questions before you embark on your indie game-making journey. Applying the lessons of a career in games media, communications, business development and investment – warts and all – Tim is here to help fledgling studios avoid making soul destroying mistakes, many of which he has experienced himself at first hand.
Why am I making this game? *Can* I make this game? What makes it different? Am I taking on Goliath here? Who is going to get excited? How can I get them excited? Do I need money and if so where do I get it from without putting on a balaclava? What are my goals and how am I going to hit them? How am I going to spread the good word? What’s the plan, Stan?
Suitable for anyone who wants to learn how to successfully market their games
